Now, let’s talk about our experience with the Uten 1099. First off, is it really the best air fryer for beginners? Well, we found the controls to be incredibly intuitive and easy to use, but then again, this is the case with most air fryers out there.
As for the cleanup, it was a breeze thanks to the well made non-stick coating that held up nicely after a few uses and hopefully will hold up as time goes by. When it comes to the overall value for money, this air fryer definitely delivers with its affordable price tag and impressive performance. But let’s dig in a little deeper.
The very first thing that was worth noting with this one, is that compared to the touch controls on the Uten 1088TS, the physical controls of the Uten 1099 are definitely more satisfying to use!
The build quality is just about the same as with all Uten air fryers we tried out. The outer shell is mostly high quality glossy plastic, and all the metal elements are durable and don’t bend or get scratched easily during regular cleaning.
The Controls & Ease of Use
You will find the controls of the Uten 1099 air fryer to be of the exact same type that you can find in most consumer grade air fryers. There is a simple temperature wheel and time setting knob present on the device. That’s it!
The timer function is pretty straightforward to use, allowing you to set the cooking time with high precision anywhere from 0 to 30 minutes. The temperature dial is positioned on top of the front part of the appliance, and you can set any temperature in range of 175°F-400°F (80°C-200°C). These are the only adjustable cooking settings you get access to. Pretty simple, right?
Regarding The Cleanup
When it comes to cleaning up the Uten 1099 Air Fryer, you’ll find it to be a breeze. In general, you should clean your air fryer after each use, by removing the basket and the tray, and washing them with warm soapy water.
